Cardiff Castle

Cardiff City is well worth a visit. The main shopping area starts near Central Station. A number of interesting old-worlde shopping arcades link St. Mary Street near the station with the Hayes area. Here you will also find the city's tourist information centre (left luggage facility available - fee payable). A number of modern shopping centres are close by as is the main and traditional shopping street, Queen Street. The station of the same name is at the far end of this street if one wishes to take a trip to Cardiff Bay.

Visitor attractions include the Millennium Stadium, a stone's throw from the station, Cardiff Castle and Cardiff Bay. For most of the day a train operates every twelve minutes between Queen Street and Cardiff Bay stations with a journey duration of three minutes.
