Sea & rail to France via Rosslare

Important announcement:
On 18th December 2018 Irish Ferries announced that they wish to inform their customers that they are unlikely to operate a service between Rosslare and France in 2019. Irish Ferries continue to keep this situation under review.
Consequently the Stena Line service to Cherbourg is the only link to France and the Rosslare - Roscoff route is closed.

Approaching Cherbourg
After experiencing the scenic rail journey from the capital through counties Wicklow & Wexford (or a bus journey from Waterford) arrive at Rosslare Europort and board a ferry for the overnight crossing to France. Arrive refreshed the following day. Explore the locality or continue by rail to any part of France or further afield. TGV trains operate on several long-distance routes and have significantly shorter journey times than the corresponding car travel times. Whether for a short break or holiday, it is a relaxing way to travel.
